17.01.02 - Big PC3 news.
From Paul Colman Trio.
The Paul Colman Trio is very pleased to announce a new partnership with
Essential Records, USA. The deal was finalised last December in Nashville as we were working on a new "international" studio album. It sees pc3 added to a first class stable which includes
Jars of Clay and Third
Day. We're all looking forward to a long and fruitful association.
In addition, we are very excited to announce the end of our days of self management. The Paul Colman Trio is now managed by a team headed by
Steve Thomas of Nashville-based Alabaster
Arts, in collaboration with The Charter Resource
Group.
The new pc3 studio album, produced by Monroe Jones and tentatively titled
"Bridges", will be released internationally through Essential on 28 May 2002.
We are expecting a great deal of our work in the future to be happening in the United States. After the
Sonfest (Australia) and Parachute (New Zealand) Festivals, we are heading Stateside to commence a three month tour with
Third Day and Bebo
Norman. For detailed tour information check our website (www.paulcolmantrio.com) or Third Day's (www.thirdday.com). Following that tour, we will embark on a circuit of US summer festivals. Exactly when we will be back in the southern hemisphere is uncertain. But pc3 is, and will always be, proudly Australian and committed to touring Australia and New Zealand as frequently as possible.
So, if you're in Australia or New Zealand, here are your last few chances to catch pc3 live for some time. We hope they're within travelling distance for you:
