15.01.03 - Milestone: 3000 copies of Christian fantasy novel 'The Magician's
Daughter'.
From George Walker, Publisher.
The new Christian, 'Harry Potter' type fantasy novel 'The Magician's Daughter'
passed the 3000 sales mark by year end. Although early sales were from Christian bookstores, increasingly, secular stores are starting to stock the novel following a December ABC radio recommendation. Underlying the storyline is a solid allegory which the Australian author, Justyn Walker, hopes will make the novel an evangelical tool. The $14.95, 320 page paperback appeals to all fantasy loves of any age.
The Australian novel has received great reviews on ABC radio (Sydney 702 Sydney Breakfast 23/12/02) and in Christian Woman magazine Jan/Feb
03.
