She always wanted to know
What it was that made her go
She hadn't heard of Christ
And why it was he died and came back to life
Then she found out
And learnt what it's about
"That's it!", she says,
"The answer is Jesus
For, in my life, the pieces that didn't fit
There's a million reasons
I'm in love with Jesus
One's the end of pieces that didn't fit
And it didn't hurt a bit"
He always stayed inside
Behind his mask he'd always hide
He wondered what was wrong
He couldn't fill that hole in his soul for long
Couldn't work it out
Till someone told him what it's about
"That's it!", he says,
"The answer is Jesus
For, in my life, the pieces that didn't fit
For all seasons
I'm alive in Jesus
That's the end of pieces that didn't fit
This won't hurt one little bit"
Jesus is the one to make you whole
Falling into place the pieces go
The pieces fit
Every last bit
"That's it!", she says,
"The answer is Jesus
For, in my life, the pieces that didn't fit
There's a million reasons
I'm in love with Jesus
One's the end of pieces that didn't fit"
"That's it!", he says,
"The answer is Jesus
For, in my life, the pieces that didn't fit
For all seasons
I'm alive in Jesus
That's the end of pieces that didn't fit".

Never saw trouble coming till it crossed my path
Up to my shirt in quicksand and sinking fast
Snake charms and disguises try before you buy
Showbag full of promises but the promises are lies
When the devil tries to talk you into it
Just keep walking
He says, "How about an apple from a secret recipe"
Just keep walking
He says, "C'mon, c'mon, just try a little bit"
Just keep walking
He can take his business elsewhere
I'm walking away
Never knew I was down till I was on my knees
Down the bottom of the mountain around 90 degrees
Won't make it through a minefield with your blindfold on
So it's good to know that we are never alone
When the devil tries to talk you into it
Just keep walking
He says, "How about an apple, it's my very own recipe"
Just keep walking
He says, "C'mon, c'mon, just try a little bit"
Just keep walking
He can take his business elsewhere
I'm walking away
Jesus warned me about this
I'm walking away from the hurt and the pain
I'm coming inside from the thunder and the rain
I see right through the ways of this world
Feel the love in Jesus' word
I thank my God for all I have
All my blessings and the life I live
Taking my time to smell all the roses
Always amazed at how well He knows us
When the devil tries to talk you into it
Just keep walking
He says, "How about an apple, it's a very special recipe"
Just keep walking
He says, "C'mon, c'mon, just try a little bit"
Just keep walking
He can take his business elsewhere
I'm walking away
Jesus warned me about this
I'm walking away

It stands within the harbour
Jutting out into the raging sea
Standing firm as the constant barrage of waves batters thee
But none shall ever move it
No none will overcome
The rock, a monument of solid higher ground
Never moving, but look at me
I bend at the knees
Under my weighted brow
I'm calling for your help
As I'm falling from the clouds
So why can't it be me
Standing out from the crowd
I'm gonna make it me
I'm gonna stand my ground like the rock
Like The rock
Like the rock
I stand here on the shoreline
With my feet buried deep in the sand
Fending off the oncoming tide with my two outstretched hands
It's just a matter of time
My works will come undone
Jesus, I foolishly built upon other things
Ever moving and now look at me
I bend at the knees
Under my weighted brow
I'm calling for your help
As I'm falling from the clouds
So why can't it be me
Standing out from the crowd
I'm gonna make it me
I'm gonna stand my ground like the rock
Like the rock
Like the rock
I'll no longer be a bending reed
Or bend at the knees
Under my weighted brow
I'm calling for your help
As I'm falling from the clouds
So why can't it be me
Standing out from the crowd
I'm gonna make it me
I'm gonna stand up proud
And not bend at the knees
Under my weighted brow
I'm calling for your help
As I'm falling from the clouds
From now on it is me
Standing out from the crowd
I'm gonna make it me
I'm gonna stand my ground on the rock
On the rock
On the rock
On the rock

Is it me or does no one feel this pain
Crying tears in the rain
So I'm wondering why
Do we have to go through so much in this life
That's why I'm questioning why there's a why
I'm climbing up high
To the top of this mountain
Doing my best at
Touching the sky
On a wing and a prayer
So why can't I fly
And why aren't there angels lifting me
Till the day that I die
Will the question be there
Wait - you've got to wait
Is it a matter of faith
It's mankind's fate
What's the matter with my faith
There are some things I know will never change
But that's never stopped me praying
So I'm wondering how
We're supposed to deal with questions we have now
You know what they are about or there-abouts
I'm climbing up high
To the top of this mountain
Doing my best at
Touching the sky
On a wing and a prayer
So why can't I fly
And why aren't there angels lifting me
Till the day that I die
Will the question be there
Flying to the limit
Of the human spirit
Couldn't get much higher
Without catching on fire
Looking for some answers
Taking all my chances
Still God has got his secrets
Or there would be no seekers
Wait - you've got to wait
It's just a question of faith
It's mankind's fate
What was the question
I'm climbing up high
To the top of this mountain
Doing my best at
Touching the sky
On a wing and a prayer
So why can't I fly
And why aren't there angels lifting me
Till the day that I die
Will the question be there
I'm climbing up high
I'm climbing up high
I'm climbing up high
Touching the sky
Touching the sky
Touching the sky
So why can't I fly
So why can't I fly
So why can't I fly
Till the day that I die
Will the question be there
