The word 'transparent' best typifies Melbourne artist Adrian Rowse. His music is uncomplicated, and his lyrics hold no punches. This singer/songwriter carries a message for his generation and to deliver it means he bares his soul.
His debut CD up close produced by Phil Gaudion of PC3 fame, displays Adrian's heart for worship. The blend of contemporary emo rock and worship music takes the listeners on their own journey of worship and discovery.
His current single Ride has all the elements of a hit song. Captivating from the first listen, the song encourages us to align our lives to God and seek His direction in all things. Adrian's hope is that listeners will find freedom by allowing God to meet with them up close, look out for the tracks Saturate and Die Old Man both of which call for us to seek God like never before.
Fuelled by a struggle with his sexuality during his teenage years Adrian is passionate about lifting the lid on the issue of sexuality. Adrian says, "Young people suffer in silence and our churches are crippled because of the lack of honest, real discussion on these issues." And Adrian should know, he has been there.
A talented communicator Adrian's career has focused on helping people reach their full potential in God. Not only the brainchild behind the popular youth website www.gush.com.au, Adrian spent many years touring as front-man for the band Corazon ministering in school, universities, prisons and churches. |
