John Harms brings a keen appreciation of sporting culture - its passions, tribal loyalties, eschatology - as well as philosophical and theological reflection on the relation of sport to the deeper needs and hopes that humans experience. Five weeks in a Brisbane studio with producer Caleb James has proven time well spent, with the album already creating talk amongst industry insiders, well before the release date.
