Fri 05 Mar 2004 / doors 7pm, 'Live at the Princess: 2004 Super Star (Heat 2)' - We are unearthing singers with talent in Brisbane to kick start an artist's career. You can participate in either of the 2 heats with finals on April 2nd. There will be 10 finalists from each heat. The competition is open to any non-professional singers or artists (not bands - open to band singers). Judges will be made up of industry figures using simple a criteria sheet with results given at the end of the night. Sat 06 Mar 2004 / 7pm-9pm, 'Ignition Youth Presents '|b |ive' - |b |ive rocked the nation last year, and this year |b himself will be back with a show for champions, along with full fledged support from that fizzy black stuff. This event will be about joy and all the crazy ways in which people seem to try to find it. Featuring the talents of |b himself, Last 'n Line's first ever film clip, the Ignition Youth Band and an action packed night (filled with action and packed with adventure). Be sure to be the first one to invite your friends to this existential event before all your your other friends get in first. Sun 28 March 2004 / 5pm (the angels sing from 4:30pm), 'He’s Alive!!! - The Moogerah Passion Play' - A cast of over 80 people works hard to enact this wonderful story of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. The outdoor theatre is unique in Australia, built especially for this play. Our loving Creator has designed the backdrop and it is stunning! There is the lake in the foreground and majestic mountains on the horizon. The light moving into darkness reflects the mood of the play. The whole scene is awe inspiring with sunset clouds, birds, sounds of insects and frogs around the Sea of Galilee. Over 2,500 people came to this amazing setting and saw 'He's Alive!!!' last year. This year many more are expected. Bring a rug or a chair, and be a part of the story of the Passion. @ the Lake Theatre, Lake Moogerah. (From Brisbane or Toowoomba simply follow the Cunningham Highway, then the signs to Lake Moogerah. Continue on until the Caravan Park - about 3km past the Dam wall.)
