Thu 01 Apr 2004 / 7:30pm, 'Brisbane RevNet Media Forum' - Be encouraged by meeting with other media workers and hearing news of what the Lord is doing around the nation. The purpose of this forum is to gather Christian media personnel for fellowship, prayer and networking and to share reports of what's happening in media and outreach to the media industry, and to bring an encouraging word from the Lord. Also the latest 2004 Media Leader Prayer Diary, rallying prayer for the top 50 Australian Media leaders, will be available. @ the Malouf Room, Carindale Hotel, Carindale St Carindale. Fri 09 Apr 2004 (Good Friday) / 5pm (the angels sing from 4:30pm), 'He’s Alive!!! - The Moogerah Passion Play' - A cast of over 80 people works hard to enact this wonderful story of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. The outdoor theatre is unique in Australia, built especially for this play. Our loving Creator has designed the backdrop and it is stunning! There is the lake in the foreground and majestic mountains on the horizon. The light moving into darkness reflects the mood of the play. The whole scene is awe inspiring with sunset clouds, birds, sounds of insects and frogs around the Sea of Galilee. Over 2,500 people came to this amazing setting and saw 'He's Alive!!!' last year. This year many more are expected. Bring a rug or a chair, and be a part of the story of the Passion. @ the Lake Theatre, Lake Moogerah. (From Brisbane or Toowoomba simply follow the Cunningham Highway, then the signs to Lake Moogerah. Continue on until the Caravan Park - about 3km past the Dam wall.) So join with thousands from across the nation who will be marching to testify to the power of Easter. Meet at City Botanic Gardens (Alice St entrance). Easter Festival from 12:30pm. 1:20pm Briefing Rally. Awakening Band from International City Church. 2pm March leaves Botanic Gardens, and past Parliament House, through city, returning to the Gardens. 2:30pm - 3:15pm Celebration at Botanic Gardens, with Water Ceremony, and commissioning of young ambassadors on Pilgrimage to Uluru. Fri 30 Apr 2004 / 7:30pm, 'Holy Dove Ministries' - Guest speaker will be Jackie Page. Jackie is a mom with a worship ministry and is going to share on the challenges in her life. This will be a wonderful night of relating our own experiences and finding answers through God's word for our situations. This is our regular end of month meeting which is held on the last Friday of each month. We have different speakers and the wonderful presence of the Lord is there during the worship.
