Mmichwest says, "grant tell me about 'same mistakes'"
Grant Norsworthy - Paul wrote that one. he was concerned that a friend of his, who had left his wife, was not taking responsibility for his contributions to the break up and was doing the "same mistakes" in another relationship.

joolye says, "can we get any video clips of PC3?"
Grant Norsworthy - We have done some. (There's also a really bad one for "Killing Tree" floating around that we didn't make). A collections of our video clips will be on a video that we are releasing in September.

baker12 says, "Grant This is Rick In Auckland New Zealand...Are you Guy's ever gonna let me Cook you a Briliant Lunch! before a Gig?"
Grant Norsworthy - Hey Rick! I hope so! What's on the menu?

hipbarbie says, "do you feel speaicl that a non christian friend stole my turn album - i bought a new one - he loves it!!"
Grant Norsworthy - That IS special. Give your friend Serious Fun too! (joke)

Moderator - we've run out questions
Moderator - are we still going??
Grant Norsworthy - sure
Grant Norsworthy - I asked Rick one.
Moderator - i know
Grant Norsworthy - is that allowed?
Moderator - i spose
Grant Norsworthy - Makes it hard for you though huh.
Grant Norsworthy - If there are people there I can keep going.

billy says, "where are you now??"
Grant Norsworthy - At my home in Melbourne.
Grant Norsworthy - In the office.

benny says, "what time do you go to bed?"
Grant Norsworthy - usually pretty late. After midnight.

sunshine says, "what is your middle name?"
Grant Norsworthy - It starts with "K". You get a prize if you can guess.

jem says, "What was your most humbling experience in concert?"
Grant Norsworthy - bak in the days when I was playing heavy metal with long hair and tight pants, I was going for a big head bang and I fell over. Kind of embarrassing actually.

guest8 says, "fav movie?"
Grant Norsworthy - fav movies - Spinal Tap, The Sound of Music, Alien, Star Wars.

sunshine says, "is three a crowd ever?"
Grant Norsworthy - For me, three can be a crowd. I often need some time totally on my own.

loribug says, "Where can people in the US buy your CDs besides you webpage???"
Grant Norsworthy - At the moment, the webpage is the only place for people in the States. Sorry about that. We're working on it. The CDs we have released in Aust and NZ may never actually be released in the US.

sunshine says, "What's the most exciting thing you have ever done?"
Grant Norsworthy - I think it'd have to be playing at Parachute Festival NZ on the main stage before Earthsuit and The Newsboys.

guest8 says, "eva been to a place u havent liked?"
Grant Norsworthy - I must admit, some parts of LA I wasn't all that keen on. Pretty grubby and depressing actually.

jem says, "Are you planning to play in Washingont State?"
Grant Norsworthy - Oh I hope so. The whole US thing really depends on getting a recording deal with a US company. You can't really "plan" to do it properly on your own.

loribug says, "grant, when can we expect a new album and another US tour. I saw you in Richmond, VA when you opened for the Marshall Tucker Band. You guys were awesome!"
Grant Norsworthy - Thanks Lori! That was a fun gig. We are hoping to release a new album in the States in the Spring. We would hope to then tour with that album over in the states for as much of next year as possible.

jem says, "Love the flame shirt Grant" - Moderator says, "Where'd you get it?"
Grant Norsworthy - I bought the flame shirt at this little shop in Wellington NZ. I won't tell you what it was called cos I like my funky clothes to NOT be worn by other people I bump into.
Grant Norsworthy - hehe!

Moderator - who do you guys look up to in the Christian music scene worldwide?
Grant Norsworthy - Well, I reckon you'd have to know people that you're going to look up to. We know the third day guys a bit and they truly are insporational, particularly Mac, the lead singer.

Moderator - are there any aussie band you think might be the next PC3?
Grant Norsworthy - Please chaneg my 'o' for an 'i' in inspirational. I can spell ... usually.
Grant Norsworthy - Change! Ahhh!
Grant Norsworthy - I hope no bands have to be the next PC3. There are plenty that could make a big impression as the first themselves - Alabastar Box, COG, Nagasaki ... heaps.

Moderator - well, we're out of questions once more... I don't go to bed early, so i don't mind what time we're here to. Are we still on for more questions??
Grant Norsworthy - Outa questions Mr Mod?
Moderator - yes : )
Grant Norsworthy - How many are we here?
Moderator - 25 users still here
Grant Norsworthy - If it's drying up I'll call it quits. I think America may be waking up, so I'm happy to continue.

sunshine says, "Does Paul ever get too big for his boots?"
Grant Norsworthy - I think he does. I think I do. I think everyone does if they're honest. That's what happens when we're not really letting God's love flow. I'm thankful that Paul does let God's love flow more than just about anyone I know.

joolye says, "what's your favourite colour?"
Grant Norsworthy - ORANGE! But that might change.

joolye says, "What are you doing tomorrow?"
Grant Norsworthy - I'm editing more of our new video. Hopefully eating three healthy meals. Sleeping for at least eight hours. Relaxing for at least a bit of time. Speaking with Brooke (mmmmm). Nut overall, I hope I honour God.

froggy says, "which pc3 song do you wish you wrote? are you jealous pc writes most of them?"
Grant Norsworthy - I think the Killing Tree is the best song so, in a sense I guess I wish i wrote it, but that's kinda silly. I'm not jealous of Paul, but I do aspire to be a better and more prolific song writer.

sunshine says, "is your middle name K for Kute? Klassy?"
Grant Norsworthy - hehe. No. But thanks again. You're very nice.

guest8 says, "when getting asked questions do you or have you ever gotten lost for words?????"
Grant Norsworthy - Oh sure. But the more I do it the less I feel that way. I hope I'm getting better at it and not just more relaxed with it.

jem says, "Have you ever played with other musos who werent that terrific and felt you represented God in a bad way?"
Grant Norsworthy - Ummm. If I understand your question correctly, my answer is no. I often want things to be more proficient musically, but I think God looks at our effort towards excellence too.

bernie says, "What colour nail polish do you have on?"
Grant Norsworthy - Black right now, but it's chipping.

joolye says, "is it K for Kevin? (your middle name)"
Grant Norsworthy - No.

sunshine says, "Are you ever going to release a solo album you talented guy you?"
Grant Norsworthy - Oooooo. I think I would like to, but it might be a while off. A lot of what I write just doesn't suit PC3. I have a heavier side. Thanks again!

evskorg says, "Grant, I will not forget your chunky distorted bass when you played Banquet Table at Crush earlier this year! Absolutely unreal! Was that a thrill for you?!"
Grant Norsworthy - Oh I love that sooooooooo much. I'm so glad you liked it too.

sunshine says, "do you drink Grant? (alcohol)"
Grant Norsworthy - I never used to drink up to the age of about 27. It's before that age that most people might have booze pull them apart. Now I might have a drink now and again, but I don't ever get drunk.

sunshine says, "What's your philosophy on life?"
Grant Norsworthy - As mu mobile phone says when i turn it on, "Remember the Lord in all you do and He will make straight your path." Prov 3:5-6 ... or most of it.

guest8 says, "have u ever gotten stage fright?"
Grant Norsworthy - Sure thing. Not as severely as some people so and hardly ever now. I always found doing items at church hard and performances that my parents were at, or lead singing.

berstein says, "Where does Grant see himself in ten years time? Still with PC3?"
Grant Norsworthy - Not sure. That'd be great but you never know where things can go. God always seems to have a better plan that the best one I can think of.

sunshine says, "Do you give bass lessons?"
Grant Norsworthy - I have given heaps, but not for a while now. I'm hardly home enough to give regular lessons. I can still give "one off" lessons and I've done some bass clinics.

pastorterrasin says, "What are your thoughts on mp3? And music trading over the net"
Grant Norsworthy - I think there are pros and cons. On the balance of things, it helps a band like PC3 more than it hinders. If people get free songs and REALLY like them, they'll probably buy your CD and go to the concert. They may never have heard of you otherwise.

jem says, "Are your fingers sore? You'd have more callouses from typing than from playing"
Grant Norsworthy - Fingers are not sore but getting lazy ... at least the three or four that i use. My brain and eyes are getting sore.

sam i am says, "do you use bass string detergent"
Grant Norsworthy - I'm not aware of a particular bass string detergent. I often do boil my strings with a little normal detergent though. I'd rather new strings though, but they're very expensive.

berstein says, "ooh...is there a music book for turn coming out soon??"
Grant Norsworthy - I hope so. We've spent heaps of time getting one nearly ready, but the new CDs and video are taking over. We are working on it.

sunshine says, "What's your favourite secular band?"
Grant Norsworthy - Hmmm. It changes. I will always love The Beatles, Crowded House, King's X and Queen, but right now I also like Tool, Eva Cassidy and Tracy Bonham.

jem says, "who does your keyboard backings?"
Grant Norsworthy - On Serious Fun it was Steve Paix (although Paul played some too) and on Turn it was Andy Sorenson. For the recent Chapel gigs it was Derek Baily.

sunshine says, "is K for Kerry? Ken? Kenya? KitKat? Ku? Klux? Klan?"
Grant Norsworthy - hehehehe. No and not Kent either.
Grant Norsworthy - Karl Konrad ? NO.
Moderator - Keith??
Moderator - Kurt??
Grant Norsworthy - Oh!!!!!!!
Moderator - i knew it!!
Grant Norsworthy - I don't believe it!!!
Grant Norsworthy - .....actually ....
Moderator - ...yes...
Grant Norsworthy - no.
Moderator - sure, sure
Grant Norsworthy - ;)

Moderator - and for the Final question.....
sunshine says, "If you were given the absolute global spotlight for a few minutes what would you say to the world? What would you play?"
Grant Norsworthy - Gosh. I would say don't look at me, look at Jesus ... but if I had to play a song it would have to be a song that I haven't written yet, but I hope to. It would have to be beautiful and wonderful and sad and thankful. It would make me cry.
Grant Norsworthy - It would be about God's grace.

Moderator - And what a great note to finish our first ever guest Live Chat on.
Moderator - Thanks Grant & Paul.
Grant Norsworthy - Thanks everybody. Great questions. a lot of serious fun. Hoep to see you at a gig soem time soon.
Grant Norsworthy - That's "hope" and "some".

The End.
